For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...
Rock Spring Baptist Church believes that according to Scripture, each believer has a gift that benefits the strength and growth of the entire body. We all have different gifts and talents and should desire to use those for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
Baptist Men of North Carolina
The Baptist Men of North Carolina do a lot for areas especially affected by natural disasters. You can sign up to help this group serve hurting communities.
Various Ministries and Outreach
Rock Spring Baptist church has many ministries where we volunteer. We partner and volunteer with Safe Space, iChoose Pregnancy, BROAD Center, and many other organizations.
Serve in our church
Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.
The body of Christ has many parts that are all valuable. What is your gift? Find an area where you can volunteer and use your gifts.
How do I volunteer?
First things first, you need to be a member of RSBC to volunteer. From that point, you can inquire and ask various ministry leaders and coordinators how you can use your gifts to help certain sections of the church. There are so many opportunities within the church and mission projects that are calling your name. We encourage every member to volunteer their time and gifts towards the overall goal of the church to reach the nations.
How do I volunteer with kids?
Our children need our love and support. We have several different opportunities for the kids who attend our RSBC children's programs to learn about the Bible, to grow closer to God through discipleship programs, and learn about how God is working all over the world. In order to do this, we need volunteers. We also value the safety of our children, so you will need to go through training and a background screening process to work with our kids.
How do I volunteer with music?
Do you have a gift for music or audio-visual skills? Can you play an instrument? Can you sing? Do you have technical computer skills? We have a dynamic music and a/v ministry. If you would like to join our worship team, choir, help run sound or projector slides, you can contact our Music Director or the Associate Pastor, Michael Clifton, for more information. We would love to add your musical gifts and talents in many various ways.
How do I volunteer with students?
Our youth group continues to grow! At a crucial time in the lives of our kids, the teenage years are the foundational times when they are transitioning from childhood to adulthood. June Havens would love to have more help with our youth group. If you can lead a small group, or coordinate events, or even if you have a passion to reach the lost on the local campuses, you can be involved! Contact June Havens.
